Organizing a Barkada Outing – 5 Valuable Tips
During summer season, planning your outing with your barkada is a must. But organizing can be hard when you’ve got multiple schedules and preferences to think about. In what place should you go swimming? How long should you stay, and what should you do? All of these can be answered when you opt to go to Watercamp Resort. Anyway, here are some handy tips to make sure your trip is well-organized ahead of time.
1. Pick the right destination.
In order for your trip to push through, you need to know each other’s preferences and decide on which destination you’d like to have your summer getaway at. Drivable destinations such are ideal places to visit if you plan to travel by car. If you’re willing to go farther and have the time and resources to do so, you might want to consider places like that you can reach by plane or by ship.
2. Set a date.
Before you can even start planning your vacation, it’s important to have a date when everyone in your barkada is free of course. Check your friends’ schedules and find out when will be your common availability. The earlier you do this, the more chances you have of having common time. You might want to consider traveling on weekends or holidays to avoid missing work.
3. Determine your budget.
One of the great things about traveling with your barkada is that your expenses become smaller compared to going solo or as a couple. Agree on how much you and your friends are willing to spend on food, accommodations, and other. Take advantage of early bird promos and discounts when it comes to securing airfare, hotel rooms, and more.
4. Be resourceful.
Is your budget smaller than you thought it would be? Just apply some tipid tips and you’re sure to save money for your other trip activities. For example, if your destination has a public park, have a picnic there. Bring snacks you can eat on so that you don’t have to eat at a restaurant. Potato chips, sandwiches, salads, and juice are some simple and affordable food to bring with you. If you’re taking food to your hotel or resort, though, make sure to check if they will have a corkage fee.
5. Be stress-free.
Make your planning experience a fun one! Bond with friends as you prepare for your much-awaited barkada outing. Discuss your schedule over lunch or dinner. You can even go all out and have a long planning session at home with the entire barkada. Organizing any outing can be stressful, but remember that these initial steps will contribute to an awesome summer vacation. Looking for rooms big enough to accommodate your entire barkada? Have a fun-filled summer getaway this year!

ReplyDeleteCool! This can be our barkada's guide in organizing outings. In fact, I'm planning to suggest to them to have our next outing in Watercamp Resort. :)
